What is ACP?

ACP stands for the Affordable Connectivity Program, an FCC program that provides connectivity benefits for qualifying households. If your household is eligible, you can receive:

  • Up to a $30/month discount on your monthly service.
  • A one-time discount of up to $100 to purchase a tablet from participating providers if they contribute more than $10 and less than $50 toward the purchase price.


    • Who Qualifies?

    There are two different ways that you qualify for the Affordable Connectivity Program. One way involves your level of income while the other way involves if you participate in certain government programs.

    You qualify if:

  • Your income is at or below 200% of the federal poverty guidelines
  • You participate in any ONE of these government benefit programs
  • Lifeline
  • Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)
  • Medicaid
  • Federal Public Housing Assistance (FPHA) (including Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Program (Section 8 Vouchers), Project-Based Rental Assistance (PBRA)/202/811, Public Housing, and Affordable Housing Programs for American Indians, Alaska Natives or Native Hawaiians)
  • Veterans Pension and Survivors Benefit
  • Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
  • Free and Reduced-Price School Lunch or Breakfast Program including through the USDA
  • Community Eligibility Provision
  • Federal Pell Grant (current award year)
  • Special Supplement Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC)
